Thursday, March 7, 2019, MRDM students travel to Bangkok. This trip to Bangkok is not only for field trips but for presenting the independent study proposals to the external examiners in Bangkok. The trip to Bangkok is approximately 8 hours. During the trip, the students also stopped by several stops for the toilet and lunch. The student arrived in Bangkok around 3:00 pm and continue for the preparation the next day.
The second day, the students will present their proposal for the whole day. The five students will be divided into two teams. Both teams were also distributed to two different universities in the morning and afternoon. The distribution is based on the concentration of the focus study.
The morning team consists of 2 students with the examiner Asst. Prof. Wimontip Musikaphan from Mahidol University. The 3 other students will continue the presentation at Kasetsart University in the afternoon with Mr. Decharut Sukkunmoed as the examiner. Even though they made presentations in different places, the five students of MRDM were still able to learn from each other and the most important thing was the five of them managed to make excellent presentations.
Present the idea of independent study that going to be conducted with the external examiners made the students get a new point of view of the independent study. The external examiner was happy to open the discussion and provide some suggestion for the improvement of students' independent study.
