Qualifications

1. Being a graduate student with active status throughout the duration of receiving this scholarship.
2. Field of Health Sciences/Science and Technology
-
Having research paper where they are listed as the first author and it has been published, or it has been accepted for publication, or there is evidence of submission for publication that is currently under review. In all cases, it must be an international academic journal listed in the Scopus database with a minimum of 1 article in Quartile 1 (Q1), and the research is considered a part of the graduation process.
Field of Humanities and Social Sciences:

Having research paper where they are listed as the first author and it has been published, or it has been accepted for publication, or there is evidence of submission for publication that is currently under review. In all cases, it must be an international academic journal listed in the Scopus database, and the research is considered a part of the graduation process.
3. Research publications that have been accepted for publication in Open Access journals from March 1, 2024, onwards must comply with the Graduate School's Announcement No. 28/2024 regarding guidelines for supporting publications used for consideration of scholarships and awards by the Graduate School, including any amendments that may be made to the announcement in the future.
4. The research paper must not be a work that has been previously used for applying for the Oversea Research Scholarship for Graduate Students from the Graduate School before.
5. The applicant must not have previously received funding support from the Research Publication Scholarship for Graduate Students at the same study level.

Scholarship Conditions
|

The proposal of research/independent study has been approved.

An official letter of acceptance from an advisor at the host institution where the student wishes to conduct research, specifying a period of not less than 1 month and clearly outlining the activities to be undertaken.

The applicant must not receive any scholarship with an allowance to pay for the education abroad. If the applicant has received any other scholarship for research abroad before departure, they must waive this scholarship.

The applicant must be able to pay for the additional costs such as health insurance, Host university fees, passport, Visa, and other expenses

The scholarship will not be awarded to the person who has received, forfeited, abandoned, or disregarded any agreements, terms, or conditions that had previously happened with the Graduate School.

The departure date for research abroad must be scheduled between October 1, 2024 - September 30, 2025.
