On January 16–17, 2025, the Graduate School, in collaboration with the International Affairs Division of Khon Kaen University, organized the Virtual Open House 2025 for International Students via the Webinar platform. The event aimed to showcase KKU’s diverse graduate programs and research opportunities to prospective international students.
The event began with an opening address by Professor Dr. Kiatichai Faksri, Dean of the Graduate School, followed by a warm welcome speech from Assistant Professor Acharawan Topark-Ngarm, Assistant to the President for International Affairs. Professor Teerasak Damrongrungruang, Associate Dean for Graduate Research Strategy, provided an overview of the Graduate School, including its academic programs and initiatives.
Representatives from various faculties highlighted their study programs, cutting-edge research opportunities, scholarships, and unique features. Additionally, current students were invited to share their experiences of studying and living at KKU, offering valuable insights into academic life, campus activities, and the support systems available for international students.
Throughout the event, participants had the opportunity to actively engage in discussions, with faculty representatives and students answering questions directly.
The Virtual Open House 2025 attracted a diverse audience, with participants from across the globe joining the sessions. The event successfully demonstrated Khon Kaen University’s commitment to fostering an inclusive and vibrant academic community for international students.
