Purpose of Project
|
To support graduate students in developing their skills in writing manuscripts in English-- leading to publication in high-quality journals--the Graduate School has initiated the “GS KKU Manuscript Camp” project. In this project, students will receive guidance on structuring and presenting their manuscripts in a compelling manner to increase their chances of being accepted for publication. The camp will be conducted in collaboration with specialists in relevant research fields, who possess extensive experience in academic publishing. The activities will be conducted in a workshop format, involving discussions, personalized advice, and hands-on support to help students revise and improve their individual research manuscripts.

Activity Description |
Students will receive guidance on how to structure and present their manuscripts in an engaging manner to increase the chances of acceptance by academic journals. This will be carried out in collaboration with distinguished specialists in fields related to the students’ research, who have extensive publication experience. The activity will take the form of one-on-one discussions, providing advice and assistance in revising manuscripts for students who wish to develop individual research articles.

Applicant Qualifications and Requirements |
1. Applicant must be a KKU graduate student.
2. The applicant must have a complete English manuscript draft where the student is listed
as the first author.
3. The specialist must be one of those listed in the attachment to the announcement No 57/2025
with expertise relevant to the student's research field.
4. The thesis advisor must have allowed the applicant to participate in this project.
5. Applicant must not have previously canceled from participating in the GS KKU
Manuscript Camp.

Criteria for Participant Selection |
1. The draft manuscript must be written in English, fully completed, and have the
potential for quality enhancement to support publication.
2. There are Specialists in relevant fields as attached to the announcement No.57/2025 and the specialistes must not be
participants' advisors/co-advisors or stakeholders of this manuscript.
3. The draft manuscript should be part of the thesis that will be used for academic
completion.
4. If the number of applicants with qualifications according to Clause 1 exceeds the
allocated budget, the Graduate School will consider applicants on a first-come, first-served
basis, provided they submit all required documents.
